1/2 BIRTHDAY…90’s STYLE

One of our family traditions is that we celebrate the kids 1/2 birthdays. It’s a silly tradition that started long ago. We decorate half the table, have half plates, half cups, half forks, half hats and of course half a cake!

This year I decided to throw Julio a SURPRISE half birthday! I told Julio that we were having a “get together.” He was oblivious to what was in store. We had gone all out transforming the venue into a 90’s party with bright and fun decor, pizza pops, super mario, pogs, and even the classic Street Fighter 2 arcade game.

Julio was surprised when he arrived to find friends from the chapters of his life. Some he hadn’t seen in years. Even one high school friend flew in for the night for the surprise that he hadn’t seen in 20 years. It was great night to celebrate Julio! Cheers to 44 and a 1/2!
