City lights

We have been exploring the new neighbourhood, and Vancouver! We took a trip on the bus and Skytrain to explore the city. We were treated to dinner at Joeys and rolled around the streets. It was great to be out and watching the world move around us. With Julio being in hospital for 3 months, even the simple task of going for a walk (or roll) in the city is a big deal. It is really amazing to see the city lights, the people rushing by and skyscrapers. When we do outings like this it makes Julio feel more “normal” and shows him that life still exists outside of the hospital walls. We are looking forward to more adventures in the wheelchair!
